Back-to-School
BEAR Back-to-School provides two new
uniforms, shoes, backpacks and school supplies to over 4,000 abused
and neglected children in Harris County.
Without BEAR Back-to-School many children would never
know what it is like to feel the joy of getting new clothes, or new
pencils waiting to be sharpened, or the excitement of getting new
notebooks. With our efforts we get countless thank you’s from
parents and caregivers who tell us that because of BEAR’s Back-to-School
program, their children have the proper uniform and do not have to
miss school.
BEAR has been granted non-profit status under Section
501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All contributions to BEAR
are tax deductible and serve children under the care of Child Protective
Services.
