BEAR Necessities
BEAR... BE A Resource for CPS kids offers hope and help to the abused and neglected children under Harris County. BEAR’s program is unique in that Harris County Protective Services for Children and Adults and the Department of Family and Protective Services donate our four full-time positions. This means that almost all of the money donated goes directly to the children we serve.

BEAR has been granted non-profit status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All contributions to BEAR are tax deductible and serve children under the care of Child Protective Services.
