Thank you for visiting our website. For 10 years, BEAR (BE A Resource for CPS Kids) has provided organized acts of kindness for thousands of abused and neglected children served by CPS. The BEAR room is often times the first stop for a child who has been removed from their unsafe home. They are usually tired, hungry, scared and unclean. Their clothes rarely fit and it is not unusual for them to be barefoot and with out a jacket.
